Best Nude Album Covers
Last week we featured our opinion of the worst nude album covers. This week here are some of the best…This post contains nudity, all photos after the jump are NSFW.
“Whipped Cream & Other Delights” – Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass – Hands down the best cover of all time.
Joey Heatherton – She used to do commercials for “Perfect Sleeper.” I’m guessing she never got a whole lot of sleep. Yikes.
The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking – Roger Waters – Who said you shouldn’t pick up hitchhikers?
Roxy Music – This never happens in real life.
Buckingham Nicks – Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks – Stevie Nicks never looked better.
Dance A Little Bit Closer – Charo – Cuchi Cuchi coo. Thank God for cold weather.
Honey – Ohio Players – Honey is great with tea and apparently on models.
Supersexy Swingin’ Sounds – White Zombie – A naked girl and a hammock. Sounds like a great Saturday afternoon.
Naked Without You – Taylor Dayne – Apparently love and a tattoo will lead you back.
Bloody Mother – Martha Wainwright – I have two Martha discs and she doesn’t wear pants on either one. I love Martha.
Lemonade and Brownies – Sugar Ray – I hate Sugar Ray, but love lemonade, brownies and girls giving the kiester salute.
Ass of Spades – I’ve never heard of the album, but from the looks of it, who cares.
Cassandra Wilson – She’s an incredible talent who looks great in water.
Body Language – Queen – The song blows and so apparently does the model.

The woman on the “Whipped Cream…” cover was pregnant at the time, btw. Also: +1 for Electric Ladyland (and you forgot Blind Faith’s classic UK cover).

Thanks for those! For many years I owned Electric Ladyland on 8-track, so I didn’t know about the inside album art. And that Blind Faith cover is so un-PC today it could get you arrested. (Er, could it?)

There was also a classic Heavy Metal album from the late 80’s or 90’s with a crotch (Like Black Crowes Amorica except no swim wear!) and just a cut throat razor in the woman’s hand hanging down. Annoying – I don;t know the name of the artist or album!

There was also an Australian live Zappa album of Zappa wearing leopard print briefs being held up by a dozen topless Australian Sheilas. Frank had a nice little smirk on his face. i bet that photo shoot smelled nice!
I don’t know the name of the album but it included the track “Bamboozled By Love.”

Dont forget “Two Virgins” . John Lennon and Yoko Ono. Or, actually try to forget. You won’t be able to once you’ve seen it. Blindness would have been preferable.

Love that “Whipped Cream and Other Delights” cover. Looks so enticing!
Lesser known but I have to throw the Popmusic EP by Shine in here. 🙂 The cover model is topless but the face is hidden (who knows, maybe it’s better that way? haha), and the music content is great, especially “Perfect Sin.”
